Weekly sketch #47. A piece of an upload graphic/icon, resurfacing here for an encore.
Weekly sketch #42.
Third beach/ocean sketch in a row. Done just after hearing about the Boston Marathon bombings on the 15th. The image was open, and I was ready to play – then saw the footage from the finish line. Weekly sketch número 40, if you can believe it.
Weekly sketch #33 – forgot to post this one. Cows in m’front yard. And a typography project I’ve been tinkering with for a few weeks.
Flor de /Caña/ – sugar cane fields outside of Grecia, Costa Rica. Coca-cola-like script typography from Flor de Caña’s rum labels. This is weekly sketch número 30.
Fifteen weeks of sketches, 35+ to go. Custom numerals over a roadside iPhone snap.
Quick sketch (weekly sketch number 10) coming off of a weekend of festivities around 15 Septiembre, Costa Rica’s independence day. Flags everywhere, but never flat – always furled and liquid. Not crazy about this one, but the vectors were pretty cool to play with. Deliberately flat color on those.
Weekly sketch number 7. Half-built halfpipe in Costa Rica gets a boost towards (digital) completion. Still a ways to go though.
